"I recently signed up to one of Lesley's quilting classes held over 3 Tuesday evenings at her home. Her own quilting skills are evident in all the beautiful pieces of work she had displayed around the place. I felt distinctly rusty using my sewing machine again and any patchwork I had done had been done by hand as a child. Lesley was very encouraging and we learnt a number of new techniques by starting with a cushion cover and placemat. She taught us how to cut and arrange the fabric to make a coherent pattern and a number of core skills which would enable us to go on and make quilts and so on. The two hours flew by and I now need to find time to put my new skills into practice!" - Rebecca

"I loved my lessons with Lesley! Being an absolute beginner not just to quilting but also to sewing I have realized that there is so much to learn, but I have really enjoyed it and will most definitely be persevering!" - Tessa
